It is recommended to buy at least 2 perches of different sizes; they need physical activity for healthy life. Lovebirds are clever birds and they need toys for mental activity, it will keep them busy and birds will not get bored. You can make a kind of bath for lovebirds. They adore water and “taking bath”.

Keep the cage away from cold air, cigarette smoke and another toxic fumes. Lovebirds are very sensitive to clearness, change food and water dishes every day, and make a big cage cleaning once a month.

The right food is crucial for lovebirds. They eat fresh vegetables, fruits, grasses and seed. You can feed it with bananas, peaches, oranges, carrots, corn, broccoli, but never give your bird rhubarb or avocado and remove apple seeds before giving it to eat.

The last thing, if you have a lovebird, keep in mind that it needs a partner. If you do not spend enough time with the bird, your pet can be very aggressive or even have health problems. It is better to place the cage where your beloved bird will have the maximum attention.
